1915 WW1 Sterling Silver Trench Watch property of and presented to Brigade Master Sergeant W.H.Shelley 242nd South Midland Brigade Royal Field Artillery by Staff Sergeants and Sergeants of the Brigade in February 1917.

The Trench Watch case is in good condition as is the dial it is Hallmarked with Glasgow mark for 1915, the importers marks are F.W. Unfortunately the Glasgow Assay Office doesn't have a record of the name of the assay agent however they only produced watches between 1915 and 1916. Inside the case is a Swiss Jewelled Lever movement which is in good working order.

The 242nd South Midland Brigade Royal Field Artillery saw action at The Battle Of The Somme as did we believe the owner of this timepiece.

We believe this is of historical value from a Military perspective
