1940's Gruen Veri-Thin Pan Am Gents Pilots Watch 
 
Initislly these watches were produced for Pilots flying Clipper Sea Planes for Pan Am in the Pacific when American entered the war in 1942 the Pan Am bases and their pilots were seconded to the military. After the war Gruen continued manufacturing these watches with their 24 hour dials and made them available to buy by the public, this is one of those.
 
10K Gold Filled case throughout in very good condition, the dial is in excellent condition.
