1950's Jaeger Le Coultre Powermatic Gents Bumper Automatic Watch

 

Initially introduced in 1948 by Jaeger Le Coultre this was the first watch to include a Power Reserve Indicator, featuring a Cal 481 movement, the indicator would turn red when the watch was running down and has a 40 hour power reserve.
 

This watch was made for the American market and dates to the early 1950's, the case is 10K Gold Filled throughout and is in very good overall condition, some surface scratches on the back ( which can be seen in the pic) the black dial is immaculate and shows no sign of ageing. 
 

Inside the case is a 17 Jewel Swiss Lever Automatic Movement signed Le 

Coultre Swiss 481 Inside case is signed Cased and Timed in USA by Le Coultre 10K Gold Filled L&K 
 

Cosmetically Overall this is in very good condition and running well.
