1971 Pierre Cardin Espace Collection Dress Watch
In 1971 Pierre Cardin who had been captivated and fixated by Space Travel the Moon Landings the previous year, created a collection of watch which adventurous, brash and modernistic but also quality as they featured movements by Jaeger Le Coultre.
This particular watch is large, has a smoked Perspex glass and steel case both which are in good condition ( coupke of small nicks in the glass) . The strap which is the original Pierre Cardin strap which is plastic but with leather backing and retains its original logo buckle, the strap has now faded and the leather cracked it could use a replacement strap, is also a very small size. Because the strap slides through it is possible to have a strap made to size if required.
Inside the case is a 17 Jewel Jaeger Le Coultre Movement
Cosmetically in good condition and running well
