c.1939 WW2 Ebel ATP Official Ordnance Military Watch
Ministry of Defence only officially ordered 133,000 from various Swiss Manufacturers in 1939, known affectionately as Tommy Watches these predated the famous Dirty `Dozen by a number of years and were used in the heaviest fighting in WW2.
After the war those that hadn't been lost or destroyed the `MOD tried to destroy, however not all were and that makes these watches very collectable now
The Ebel is one of the most sought after ATP watches by collectors, having a full stainless steel case rather than a chrome plated one and the only ATP variant to have Cathedral Hands.
The screw down steel case is in excellent condition as is the dial, inside the case is a calibre 99 Ebel Swiss movement.
Cosmetically overall it's in excellent condition and running very well
